Australiana - animals around the Billabong

This mural is at the other end of the former Wesleyan school hall that is now the Jordan Cafe at Newtown Mission, opposite the Newtown Last Supper. Its a community project painted by Grace Woods and I, with some assistance from Xantharea O'Driscoll(my daughter) from the suggestions of the Newtown Mission community.

The project was the brainchild of Pastor Brian, something he'd wanted painted there for a long time, ut only finally was realised in the months before

(that's a bit of a fib, some of the area above and around ths doors flanking the panel remain empty and the merge to the pattern borders Grace has drawn on the other sides of the doors have to be done. I hope we can get in sometime soon(early 2019) to finish it all off
